How to properly introduce yourself

When you introduce yourself your probably going to want to say your name, nickname, what some of your favorite things are etc. Also you might include some things about your life ( only if you want )

Ex:

Hi my name is Matthew but everyone calls me Matt. I like to play baseball and football. I live in New York but I always wanted to go to Italy and the United Kingdom. I'm 13 years old turning 14 on February 3rd.
